Industry Experience

Health

With over 15 years of experience working within the health industry, both with clients and at a government level, Shannon has a wealth of knowledge to share and has worked with a variety of practitioners, including general practice, specialist medical practitioners, psychologists, and other allied health and veterinary clinics.

Agribusiness

Growing up in rural New South Wales with an accountant for a father, Shannon spent much time around farmers and their families from an early age. She recalls helping at her dad's office and learning the strength of a trusted advisor relationship she saw him build with his clients, which encouraged her to enter the industry.

Shannon has worked across a broad client agricultural base, from the growers to the sellers, helping her understand her clients' end-to-end demands. Shannon enjoys assisting farmers in adopting and utilising technology to their advantage and educating clients on the unique tax opportunities available to their industry. More importantly, this helps clients minimise time spent on administrative duties, giving them more time to focus on the farm and what they enjoy.

Not-for-profits

The not-for-profit sector has been a keen area of interest for Shannon throughout her career. She has followed the administrative progression from the ATO, ASIC, and ACNC. She prides herself on her not-for-profit knowledge and is a champion team member in this area throughout the firm.

Small to Medium Business

Shannon has developed a keen interest in helping small to medium businesses from establishment to day-to-day operations. She assists with structure establishment, compliance and system requirements, efficiency reviews, business plans, and accounting software solutions. Shannon enjoys the journey with her clients, from that initial idea to following it through to a successful result while helping to navigate the many curveballs along the way.
